Different types of teas such as oolong, green, white, and black tea come from different parts of the Camellia sinensis plant. Green tea is harvested from infant leaves and has multiple health benefits. It helps keep skin healthy and is also used to maintain a healthy weight. Green tea can aid in combating cancer and bone loss. Black tea is created when leaves from the Camellia sinensis undergo an oxidation process. During this process the leaves are put in a temperature and humidity controlled environment in order to preserve them.
DID YOU KNOW?Different teas have different levels of caffeine. In small amounts, black tea can help improve mental alertness, memory, and learning abilities. It can also ease headaches. However, excess amounts of black tea can cause unhealthy side effects due to the caffeine. |
