Simple Weight Loss Tips
I typically have not spoken directly about weight loss regimes; however, I have had wonderful testimonies from people that have used my book. Obesity is a major issue in the Unites States for many reasons. It is my hope to shed light on a few adjustments to your daily activity that can make a difference in not only your weight but also your health. You can have an ideal weight and still suffer from cardiovascular disease and other health issues, so the focus should be to achieve overall wellness.
Each person has a different metabolism, so you cannot expect what happens to another person to work exactly for you. Don’t be hard on yourself. If you fail to make your daily goals, thank God for giving you another chance the next day.

- Skip sodas and sugary drinks – look for natural sparkling flavored water, herbal ice teas and alkaline water. Many carbonated sodas are full of corn syrup and sugar. This can add too many empty calories and decrease digestion.
- Eat your heaviest meal at Lunch or before 5:00 pm. This will allow your body more time to digest your food.
- Don’t get too hungry. We tend to eat too much food or unhealthy food when we are hungry.
- Make sure you are eliminating at least twice per day. If your digestive system to sluggish it can cause weight gain.
- Find a good mild herbal cleanser to help pull toxins from your system. Check with your health professional first, but I do this at least once per month. Many people are constipated and suffering from various illnesses because of a lack of elimination.
- Eliminate the dairy from your diet. Cow’s milk is not meant for humans. This can cause mucus to build in your system. Try Almond, Hemp, Oat, Coconut and other nut milks as a substitution when baking, eating cereal or just to drink. Read the label to make sure there is no added sugar
- Please stop the red meat consumption, increase salads and other fresh produce. Limit fried foods, fast foods, processed foods and anything you know is not benefiting your body.
